Dave`s Pizza in Coos Bay

Terrible place to eat. And their radio commercial is racist. I'm Italian and I'm offended every time I hear it. I'll never eat there.

Awesome sandwiches! Excellent service. My grandkids split the spaghetti plate, there was enough to take home for a second meal for the 2 of them! We will definitely be back. Next trip over!

I went in for the Lunch Special and the Salad and the Pizza was Awesome. Better then most Pizza Restaurant in Coos Bay. A very clean environment and the prices Surprised me.Very good food five Stars.

Cheese pizza had way to much cheese on it and it was kind of pricey. Crust was delicious though. Lady was yelling at kids across the room while taking our order.

Best pizza, still my favorite for so many years!

Not a bad place at all. Pizza crust was a little crispy but not burnt, just enough to where it roughs up the roof of your mouth a little bit. Other than that the topping were great and so were the staff. 3 1/2 stars

Fantastic pizza. Best on this part of the coast. But get there before 8 PM if you want a shot at the salad bar, because they pack that up early.

Best pizza I've had in a long time

Needed to get out of my AirBnB and have a beer after spending time with the in-laws. Made the short walk and was greeted graciously and they were very helpful with recommendations. Had a pitcher of hefeweizen with an amazing fully cooked calzone (none of that soggy or premade business) and a delicious white garlic sauce pizza. Coos Bay was a one and done for traveling the Oregon coast, but man I'll miss this little pizza place. Thanks!

Best pizza around

Had a small works pizza was skeptical when I saw shrimp but the flavors blended well to produce an AWESOME pizza ezperience.

Great service, quiet and rustic atmosphere, I personally like their sandwiches and calzones more than their pizzas, but that’s not to say their pizzas aren’t good, they’re just different from what you get from pizza chains. It’s more towards the home cooked pizza style. Get a philly sandwich or a Italian calzone, you won’t be disappointed. Great place for a birthday party with the large back room and arcade games.

OMFG...amazing, delicious, perfect. Love this pizza

The crust was vegan but other than that there was not a particularly exciting vegan pizza option. There was good veggies on the pie though so I can't complain. The service was friendly and checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed. There are a few pinball and arcades as well for a little nastalgic entertainment.

Pizza is pretty good but not great. Called in a take out pizza and asked for a topping to be removed. Which they forgot. Not a big deal unless some has a food allergy.

Don’t listen to anything about this place deserving less than 5 stars. This pizza is amazing. Worth every second of the wait. It was so good everyone was excited to get hungry again. The crusts are perfect, there are so many options for toppings, and the staff are incredibly helpful. 10/10 will be returning.

They took a long time to acknowledge me while I was trying to order a soda. The food was pretty descent. The lady that was cleaning up after my nephew's birthday party was rude about the time while I was being sympathetic towards her about cleaning up. Definitely not friendly staff.

Pizza was a 5 star the wait was a 3 star. Great pizza but I had to wait quite a while. This might be due to the two phone in orders that got in front of me while I was waiting to place my order.

Ome of the best pizza places around ANYWHERE. Great crust could use a tad more sauce but im being picky . I have yet to have a 5 pizza outside of Italy so please dont hate

I really like this place! They have good service, good food, and a fun atmosphere!! I have been a few times with my kids and each time we leave feeling like we need to tell more people about this place. Give this place a try, it is really tasty!!!

Solid pizza. Gluten Free option is some of the best around. The meaty calzone was topNotch.

Get the pizza. Real Pizza. Margarita, so you can enjoy the flavors. And get it large. You'll want the leftovers.

There was a piece of white hair in the southwest pizza and I'm pretty sure it was microwaved cheese. They were really uneducated and acted like we were dumb. The hot wings weren't even hot and all in all it was a bad experience and was expensive. We want our change back.

The calzones are a small pizza folded in half,so huge! The people were very nice and we enjoyed our food when we got home.

My husband and I are new to Coos Bay. We keep hearing ads on the radio for Dave’s Pizza, so we thought we would try it out. We ordered a veggie pizza for pick up. The woman who helped us order suggested the pesto sauce on the veggie pizza, so we tried that. The pizza was horrible. One star because it was objectively edible. My husband described it as cardboard with a smear of green paint and raw vegetables. The crust was tasteless and did remind me of cardboard. The pesto sauce had no flavor. Both of which may have been forgivable if the toppings had been delicious, but they were not. The veggies were literally raw. It looked as though they had cooked the crust, then sprinkled chopped up vegetables on top. It was extremely disappointing. Don’t believe the commercials. Poppa Murphy’s is much cheaper and much better food.

Pizza hear was really tasty! No words. But consider, that prices are also higher than usual..comaring with Mod pizza or Hotlips etc..

I would give it a 3 1/2 🌟 not quite a 4. However, the crust is at least a 4 or 5 🌟. The sauce has little flavor. I have only tried one other pizza place in town (Gino's) so of the two, Dave's is far superior.

Almost fantastic pizza. Everything about the pizza was great but the crust is a bit too crisp for my liking. Not sure if they just over cooked our pizza or if that is the way they make it. They put lots of toppings on the pizza so that was nice.

This was a GOOOD Pie. That has to be one of the best crusts ever! Crispy with just enough chew. Kinda can't wait to go back to Coos Bay. May be the only reason.😄

This place was freaking awesome

Excellent crispy crust pizza! Willing to make vegan by leaving off the cheese. Pretty good little salad bar. The arcade games are in the same room as dining area. Still, tasty.

For $8.60 I ordered the 6" pepperoni pizza, soda, and 1 trip through the salad bar. The pizza was so very tasty and the salad was fresh with options of cucumber, onions, grape tomatoes, sunflower seeds, peas, etc. Also had macaroni and potato salads.

Cracker crust with a perfect 3-4mm soft dough for the lack luster sauce to sit on, excellent selection of toppings,, which are ample in quantity, standard quality. Spice up the sauce and increase the quality of toppings and this pizza is a hands down five 🌟

The wait was really long- about 50 minutes for two pizzas and some wings. But the pizza was really good and the wings were fantastic—some of the best we’ve ever had. Also the staff were all some of the nicest people ever. But next time we’d have it delivered and skip eating at the restaurant- it was kind of a dive. Not dirty just not the nicest place.

This pizza is delicious. Crust is just right, the toppings are great and the cheese is stringy. Yummy! Try the taco pizza, it will not disappoint!
